Our mission at Cross Country Conversions is to be a high quality custom conversion manufacturer. We will utilize a careful mix of modern technology and traditional craftsmanship in order to bring our customers professional design consultation, superior custom conversion, and exceptional service.

Company History

In 2008, Cross Country Conversions started as a division of Advantage Cabinets, Inc.  Scott, Tina & the staff of Advantage Cabinets recognized trailer conversions to be a good match to our existing business; manufacturing residential custom cabinets.  We have been able to use our years of experience, design expertise, skilled craftsmanship and put it to the test!  We are able to recreate what has worked in the home market and bring that same quality & service to the conversion market. 

Advantage Cabinets, Inc. first opened for business in May of 1990. It was started by Todd Lundgren who had been in the cabinet industry for many years and saw the need for a high quality custom cabinet shop in the area. The original location of the business was on County Road 45 just across I35 from the Owatonna Airport.

In January of 1996, Scott Kubicek & his wife Tina purchased the business. At that time, Scott was working as an installer and counter top builder for Advantage Cabinets along with 4 other employees. In July of 1996, a new building was built and the business was moved to its current location in the Industrial Park of Owatonna. Since relocating the business, we have added on in 1999 and again in 2001 to the current building size of 14,000 square feet.

We continue to strive to improve our company with quality employees and high tech equipment. Additionally, we have grown from just 4 employees in 1996, to our current staff of 23 employees.
